Here I am, making a new start for myself. And let me tell you, this new start is very expensive. The thing is I had no other solution for myself. I've lost nearly 35 pounds since last august, but since christmas, I can't seem to go down anymore although I workout 3 times more. I've developped a passion for fitness. I love the way running makes me feel and I enjoy the fact that I can do it with my boyfriend. He has been awesome and supported me through all this. I wouldn't be this far if it wasn't for him.:)
The method: Ideal Protein
So the gym where I workout is also a clinic for the Ideal Protein method. When I first signed up for the gym, I was totally against the method. I kept on thinking that it wssn't safe and that I would never be able to go through it.
Here I am three months and 250$ later, with a bag full of IP meals and a document of information about doing the method right. Call it brainwash, helplessness or courage, I really believe I'll have the results and be healthy at the end of it all. :)
I had an hour long meeting with a health coach (which also happens to be a trainer at the gym) and she explained the whole process along with many informations in order to stay healthy through it all. I've got to say she was very down to earth explaining that it wasn't gonna be easy and that the tough part is gonna be keeping the weight off at the end of it all.
I started the plan today at lunch. Can't wait to see the results next monday at my weigh in. :)
I'll end this first post by sharing my motivation: the method makes you lose a lot fast and isn't a long diet (I'll probably be doing it for 3 months).
Here's to the new me:)
